China the Future of Travel is a travel industry forum on China’s growing outbound tourism market, organised by ChinaContact.

The forum will host about 180 delegates from Europe and North America as well as a delegation of Chinese travel agents and travel media journalists.

World Travel Market is the largest travel trade exhibition in Europe, held from 12-15 November at ExCel, London.

ChinaContact is calling for 5 bi-lingual volunteers who are interested to learn more about the travel industry and China’s place in it. Volunteers need to speak good English and Mandarin Chinese. Other Chinese dialects (Shanghainese, Cantonese) are beneficial. Prior experience, or interest in, the travel industry is preferred.

The role of volunteers will be to assist with registration and logistics on the day, and help interpret conversations between the Western and Chinese delegates.

Public transportation costs, uniform (shirts) and lunch will be provided.

Volunteers will be required to attend two training sessions in central London prior to the event.
